Laboratory Services
Analytical laboratories located at 9th Floor, Sabbasastravicaya Building, provide quality, precise and accurate environmental monitoring services, especially water and soil samples. The services are available to students, educational personnel, government and private organizations as well as the public.
Laboratory services include:
pH, Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN), Settleable Solids, Grease and Oil, Sulfide

1. Contact for service
- Discussion about sample characteristics, parameters, and reference standards, or preferred analysis methods
- Contact staff at 02-218-8211 or send your question and contact number to: eric@chula.ac.th
2. Send the sample
- Fill out detailed information in the office or download a form to fill out the required information in advance.
- Send the samples and forms to the laboratory on the 9th floor of the Sabbasastravicaya Building.
3. Payment (after analysis is completed)
- You will receive an email containing links to download quotation and invoices.
- Pay by transfer and attach proof of payment in the link.
4. Receive analysis results and receipts (Once payment has been verified)
- You will receive an email containing link to download the analysis results and receipt
Analysis Payment Methods
When the operation is complete, the customer will receive an email informing details about the payment of the analysis. The customer will receive the results of the analysis when the payment of the service is complete.
The analysis fee can be paid through an account deposit or transfer according to the details sent via email. Please send the proof of payment via link sent to you in the email.
- Money Transfer: The analysis fee can be paid through an account deposit or transfer to the TTB bank savings account of the Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University number: 174-2-02052-0
In addition, the service fee can be paid in other ways, including:
- Bank Check (from a bank in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathumthani and Samut Prakan): The check should be made out to Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University with A/C Payee Only and cross out or other or it will not be accepted.
- Cash Payment: A cash payment can be made at the ERIC Finance Department office on the 2nd floor of Building 2 between 8.30 – 11.30 a.m. and 1.00 – 3.00 p.m. (on normal work days)
- Government Fiscal Management Information System (GFMIS): Payment can be made using this system to transfer money to TTB bank savings account number: 174-2-02052-0 by filling in: Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University and providing transfer details as proof of payment as well as the analysis code and name of company/fund and address to which the receipt should be issued and results sent.
