กิจกรรมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ International Simulation and Gaming Competition (ISGC 2022) (26-29 กรกฎาคม)

Thailand, International Simulation and Gaming Competition (ISGC 2022)

The Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with the International Simulation and Gaming Association (ISAGA) organized an International Simulation and Gaming Competition (ISGC 2022) at the Environmental Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University, on July 26 – 29, 2022. The program conducted as a 4-day workshop, followed by a 1-day competition on September 3, 2022.

The aim of this workshop is to promote youth with the use of game and gaming simulation for educational purposes. And to explore a new journey of educational game design and game development through a multidisciplinary approach across different scientific fields.

More than 10 students from various universities participated in the learning sessions and the workshop. The workshop and competition theme came up as our reflection towards “Global risk – local resilience”, which covers, but not limited to, natural and manmade disasters, environmental degradation and changes, energy literacy, and other social phenomena that could trigger our society as a threat and/or an opportunity for social changes.

เมื่อวันที่ 26 – 29 กรกฎาคม 2565 สถาบันวิจัยสภาวะแวดล้อม จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้ร่วมมือกับสมาคมการออกแบบเกมจำลองสถานการณ์นานาชาติ (International Simulation and Gaming Association: ISAGA) จัดกิจกรรมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “International Simulation Gaming Competition: ISGC 2022” การออกแบบเกมจำลองสถานการณ์เพื่อการเรียนรู้ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Global risk – local resilience” โดยมีผู้เชี่ยวชาญทั้งจากภาควิชาการ และนักออกแบบเกมร่วมเป็นวิทยากรในการอบรม

การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสนับสนุนให้นักวิชาการและนักศึกษาสามารถประยุกต์ใช้เกมจำลองสถานการณ์เพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนาการศึกษา รวมทั้งสามารถออกแบบและพัฒนาเกมจำลองสถานการณ์ในประเด็นที่สนใจ โดยผู้เข้าร่วมอบรมตัวแทนประเทศไทยจะเข้าร่วมแข่งขันกับตัวแทนประเทศญี่ปุ่นในวันที่ 3 กันยายน 2565 ณ สถาบันวิจัยสภาวะแวดล้อม จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
